Just got 1 for xmas, and wanted one for a while. Come to find out all it is is a slot cut a 1/2″ above the bottom on 1 side and a little piece of flat stock aluminum that slides in and out. It makes a lot of noise moving it around and also leaves gaps on each side of the pan and up to a 1/4″ gap under the plate stock and the grate,that tapers downtown where it touches. I was really hoping it would have been a actual rail under the grate that would have held all the fine dirt such as waxed dirt.i guess I will have to make the improvements myself and add in a stopper so it doesn’t completely come out by adding a rail on the entrance with a bead of aluminum on the plate. It’s really about the same price as any other pan, so I gave it a extra 2 stars. The welds also look ok on the outside,but could use some grinding on the inside from excess mig wire run through. Also it has 2 welded plates on bottom for the handle for possible scooping, so unable to attach to top of a 5 gal bucket if you use one trapping.
